Inanna Tambourines
These drums/Tambourines are part of our ARTIST INNOVATION SERIES .
The Inanna Sisters In Rhythm band takes its name from the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna, who was worshiped more than 4,000 years ago when it is believed that the drummers were predominantly women. As a group, and individually ( Shirsten Lundblad, Tori Morrill, and Annegret Baier), these in-the-now drummers embody the power of drumming and the power of women in their role of building community and cultivating joy.
